Andres Torres in Dodger blue?

According to Henry Schulman at the SF Chronicle, Andres Torres says the Dodgers expressed interest in Andres Torres during the offseason but not enough for Andres to spurn the Giants. The Dodgers must be thinking he was cheap or maybe thinking that he could replicate his career year in 2010. 

Or maybe it was a game in late 2009. My first memory of him was on Sept. 20, 2009, he was the Giants offense, clobbering two homers out of Chavez Latrine. "Hey, this guy can hit pretty good here," Ned Colletti may have said. Or not.     

In 2010, he had a 5.1 WAR -- better than all but 15 other guys in the NL.
