Four and half games up!

The Yankees of the West have gagged again, losing 2-0 to the Dbacks. The Giants had started the game in a 4-0 hole after 3 innings but Ryan Vogelsong and the pen held the Lastros -- who head the AL West next year -- scoreless for the rest of the night

John Shea of the SF Chron notes that it was the biggest comeback of the year -- which says something about the offense.

The team is finally scoring more runs than it had been. My guess is that thanks go to Marco Scutaro, Brandon Belt and Joaquin Arias. The Giants are now 16th of the 30 M:LB teams. That's more like it.
