First place again!

Mmmm-mmm. How did THAT taste, dodger fans? Kind of like those soggy garlic fries you sell that are a poor imitation of the real thing.

You have you nominal ace out there and you still can't win.

OK, enough bravado. The Giants lucked out. I'm damn glad the Orange and Black squeezed out a 2-1 vic, thanks to masterful pitching by Bumgarner and timely hitting by Pagan and Sandoval. No sweep for you, Dodgers!

Henry Schulman of the SF Chron just tweeted this --  Kershaw & Bumgarner: 20 Ks, 0 BBs - only 3rd time in live ball era 2 starters combo for 20 Ks and 0 BBs, per Elias (he has revised "live ball era" to "this season")

and this --  Kershaw is now 1-3 against the Giants this year despite allowing only six earned runs in 31 innings

This is from his game story  -- Some manager did not have a good time at Dodger Stadium since the last time I was here. The back wall of Bochy’s office has a fist-sized hole in it. Bochy didn’t do it. Your guess is as good as mine.
