16 Giants runs at Coors -- is it enough?

I'm not really worried.

After spending the last week struggling to score, the Giants have gotten a season-high 16 runs tonight for a 12-run lead as they head to the bottom of the 9th. Just an inning and a half ago, heading into the 8th, it was 7-4.

Unfortunately, the Dodgers are playing the Cubs, who are losing 3-1.

UPDATE -- since I wrote that, the Dodgers are leading 5-1 and Santiago Casilla has come on to get the first two outs... and just closed out the game with Todd Helton flying out to center..

Hunter Pence got his first hit as a Giant and went 1-for-6.
