Giants outscore Dodgers, 2-1

A dodger loss is always a thing of beauty. Never more so than when the Giants suffer a beatdown like the one today in Pittsburgh. 

In the interest of keeping this blog as upbeat as possible, I'm pointing out that Giants were slightly better on offense than the Dodgers today. The Dbacks hammered the Dodgers, 7-1. 


Paul Goldschmidt, who has made homering off Tim Lincecum his signature, hit a 3-run bomb today. 

As far as the good guys went, Pablo Sandoval provided the offense with a 2-run homer, which makes his stats look more like a starting All-Star.
