That's the Giants record with four games to go before the first quarter mark. Last night's game was the fourth this year that they've lost by a 5-4 margin. Those games are really annoying -- they mean that the pitching wasn't stellar and the offense did OK but remained unexceptional. 

I hope this doesn't mean we're headed for an 81-81 season
