No fluke for Zito?

He managed to pitch decently last night in the Giants 4-3 vic -- though it was the Pirates, who have become the standard for lousy MLB teams. When I saw he had allowed two runs in the top of the first, I had that sickening "Here we go again" feeling that Giants fans know all too well. But the other run was the result of fielding errors, so perhaps .... perhaps ...

The Pirates are now 2-6 and haven't had a winning season since 1992 when Barry Bonds was on the team
