I think I'll kick off this post by recalling Game 2 of last year's World Series, capping a scoreless string of 21 and a third innings of shutout ball by Mighty Matt.
Julian Levine at Splashing Pumpkins makes a pretty compelling argument for locking him down to a multi-year deal sooner rather than later. The statistical measures look pretty good.

It's hard to believe you think W-L is worth mentioning for any reason at all except run support.
Oh, for heavens sake. What I meant is that on most teams, Matt would have more wins than losses.
You sound as if you're looking for a fight. I'm not. Sorry my writing isn't up to your high standards.
