Now the Buster Posey Era starts. Reports out of New York from ESPN radio say the Bengie's agreed to sign a two-year deal with the Mets, who just signed Jason Bay.
The Mets are desperate for power. Hard to believe that the Mets became the second team since the 1995 Phillies to hit less than 100 homers this year, with 95. The 2008 Giants were the first, hitting only 94. They had 122 this year.

If you lost Delgado, Beltran, and Reyes,you'd lose a lot of production, too. Also, David Wright's power numbers fell drastically at Citi Field, which makes Petco look like Fenway.
