Mike Jacobs in the Orange and Black?

Let the Hot Stove season begin. Joe Frisaro of MLB.com mentions that the Marlins are interested in dealing first baseman Mike Jacobs, who did hit 30 HRs, and that the Giants are among the likely destinations. The Royals and Jays are the others.

A Giants Win hat tip to Lefty Malo, who isn't impressed with Jacobs, noting that Mays Field will neutralize Jacobs' power and that the Giants have decent first base options like Sandoval, Ishikawa and Bowker. Appropriately, Lefty also notes that Jacobs doesn't do well against lefties.
