Losing streak stopped at one
I'm reduced to celebrating spring training ties now. Thanks, Brian Sabean!
The Giants tied the Mariners today, 3-3. They are now 4-11-2 -- which projects out to a seriously embarrassing 44-118 record over a 162-game season. The optimist in me notes that Ray Durham is pounding the ball and perhaps can revert to his 2006 form.

First off, thanks for linking my blog in your blogroll.
Durham’s found a groove, which is nice after last season’s disaster, but I feel bad for Frandsen. This spring training was the first legit chance he got to win 2B, and then Bochy yanks him to SS. Frandsen will play any position you ask him to, but it’s on the manager to put players in place they can succeed. SS is definitely not his strong suit, and I think his errors messed with his offense.
