Brian Wilson -- what a relief

Here's one area that Brian Sabean hasn't messed up -- it looks like the Giants may have a decent closer in Brian Wilson, according to Chris Haft of MLB.com. I'd say there's an acceptable alternative in Tyler Walker.

Haft notes that it's been six seasons since Robb Nen retired, forcing fans to endure inadequate guys like Worrell and Herges plus the colossal stupidity of the Blownitez signing -- which should be enough grounds for Sabean's termination. So it's a real relief for Giants fans, who are going to see a lot of 2-1 and 3-2 games this season, that having a decent closer is actually plausible in 2008.
