Ray Ratto = dingbat weasel
The SF Chronicle's worthless Ray Ratto is one of the many non-talents cluttering up the pages with time-wasting prose. Two days after Barry Bonds appeared at the Commonwealth Club to say that he wouldn't rule out a return to the Giants, Ratto gets back on the Bonds Hate Train to say .... well, it's kind of hard to tell, exactly, given that the piece is so poorly written ..... but the bottom line is this -- 'I, the amazing Ray Ratto, believe Bonds is pathetic for saying that."
It seems that this is a pretty obvious story -- Bonds says in response to a question that he'd be OK with coming back even though that's a longshot. But you can always count on the Chronicle writers to muddy the water by reminding you how much they hate Bonds because he's EVIL.
