Vin Scully = liar

One of the most annoying parts of Vin Scully's lame broadcasting effort on Sunday was to harp constantly about how Omar Vizquel had said Bonds couldn't field his position any more. Of course, that's not what Omar said but Scully loves to lie. Here's what Omar actually said in USA Today --

"I think the best thing for Barry is for him to be in the other league as a DH," Vizquel says. "He hasn't been on the (disabled list), but you need someone to play in the field every day. He can still hit, but his (outfield range) is not the same as it was seven, eight years ago."
