My dumb but true baseball rule

I felt a fleeting moment of vindication as the Triple A excuse for a team that calls itslef the Marlins buttkicked the Giants all over Mays Field today, though it lasted only a milli-second before returning to despair over the 8-1 loss. Unlike Pete Rose, I don't bet on baseball. But if I did, I would always bet on teams to win the third game of a series after they've lost the first two. Even if it's the Marlins on the road and even if their pitcher is 2-6 going in. Of course, it helps that Dontrelle Willis pitched like the Dontrelle of last year and stiffs like Dan Uggla decided to hit like the 1927 Yankees.
